Placement of 2 Pork Butts

Depends on shape.

If they both fit easy,on a middle rack,and you can get any air flow,I like that.

If not,set other than on the bottom,and offset them a little.

You really can't hurt them,except just directly over the fire box,and lowest possible rack setting.

I have had the best results when I could fit 2 butts on the same rack. It just seems to me that they come out good with better consistency.
