Plans for the weekend

Heading to New Wilmington PA tomorrow for a small local BBQ comp. Called Sam Whiting, who's putting it on at his shop, asked him if I could be a judge, dang if he didn't say yes.

Tossing in a 10lb Butt around 5 PM tomorrow, should be done sometime Sunday afternoon.

Really looking forward to the Rochester Rib fest up in NY on the 22/23/24, where I signed up to take the KCBS Judge class and if possible, will sit in as a judge for the weekend.

Is this a great country or what???????

That's really neat. Great way to get some free food and maybe a recipe along the way, that is, if contestants are willing to share their secrets.
