I have a question for everyone.

I spoke about a pork shoulder a couple months back and have had it sitting in my very cold extra fridge in my basement this whole time. Just never got around to doing anything with it. It was almost frozen a couple times as well, becuz the fridge is so cold.

Ok, I know everyone will probably think I am crazy for just procrastinating, but is this thing still good.

I did check to see if there was a slaughter date, but none. Supermarket sell by label is marked 4/23. Well it has been over two months. Anyone think I can brine this thing for a long time to turn it into smoked honey ham cold cuts or am I crazy.

I never opened the ORIGINAL PKG. It looks okay, but if some one says it's still good to go, I want to start brining it.

As always, I appreciate the advice.
