I checked out the Polder website for thermometers. They have a dual sensor thermometer which apparently reads the meat temp as well as the smoker temp.
Has anyone used this one?
Where is a good, inexpensive place to buy thermometers?

I have not used the dual sensor Polder but have 2 of the single sensor Polders and have had excellent luck. I ordered direct from Polder!
Go to Target,or one of the box stores.
You can get a Taylor for about $15.
Do a search at page top for therms and you will get hundreds of threads.
At the end of the thread ,many folks,as well as comp cooks,vendors,caterers,etc wind up with a couple of Taylors-or comparable.

I have an older Polder dual Probe and it is not very useful. This was because inaccuracy of the probes.
On the other hand, my single probe Polders have performed beautifully for me for years!

Lots of places in town carry them. Just buy 2. One for any meat, one for the smoker. BB& Beyond carry some also.
Keep moisture from getting in the crimp, it will kill the sensor.

Wal-Mart I use a deep-fry termometer they cost around $5.00 stick it in the vent hole to measure the inside temp. Also I stick it in whatever is on the top rack and use a digital with a cable for the lower rack. The digital came from western research and cost about $30.00
