Some of the larger/commercial Cookshacks have a timer that will drop them back to 140�,when done, and hold.

Some folks use their cookshacks as a holding oven.

Butts have enough internal moisture to hold several hrs,but I foil mine anyway.

I don't know how long you are thinking about holding,but you can plastic wrap,foil,heavy towel and leave in a dry cooler.

It will hold your temp for three or four hours.
