A few years back I found a pork rub that came in a little brown paper sack that had a label stuck on it. The rub was somewhat solidified in the bottom of the sack but kinda white powdery when crumbled. It may have been old causing the solidification and color. It was kinda salty with lots of herbs. It had some rosemary in it for sure. Does anyone know of a product like this? It was very good on grilled pork chops.

The is an entire line of spices they sell in little paper sacks (in the old day) but now they are in boxes.

One is Leander (sp?) and you'll see it at food counters sometimes, in the deli case section.

Another is Char Crust, is an entire line of spices designed to be sprinkled on the meat before grilling.
