I bought 7 lbs of pork from Sam's this afternoon, but was confused by the labeling.

Are these boneless ribs or boneless shoulder that has been cut into smaller pieces?

Any insight or explanations will be appreciated.

The Sam's where I live only sells butts by the case and doesn't carry "normal" cuts of pork shoulder. Anyone else had this experience?

Mornin',redpepper.

Your Sam's there sells sliced boneless butt,
as ribs.

The oriental and Cuban restaurants there use a lot of it,as do those over here in Melbourne.

He'll have cases of butts in 2 pack cryopacs.

Ask him if he'll sell you some two packs.

If he won't,the Wallyworlds near you sell butts.

I think that is the Sam's that drbbq gets his butts and ribs from.
