I need some help. I put a 10 pound pork butt in my smokette this morning around 10AM with the oven set to 225.
I got home from work around 7:30 PM and found the circuit breaker had tripped. The oven was off. The Oven temp was 74, the internal temperature on the meat was 134 . I immediately turned the oven back on. After 1hr the oven is back up to 225 but the internal temperature on the meat is now 127.
I have no idea how high the internal temp originally went or how long the power was off. Will the meat be safe to eat if I finish cooking it?
