Thanks for sharing your loss with us. I certainly appreciate it as I can empathize with the stresses the family went thru while he was there. I had the same concerns every day my son was in Baghdad.

We pay a high cost for the freedoms we enjoy and come to expect.

I pray they will go to the Lord for their comfort as there is no man that can console that kind of loss. The only thing we can do is walk thru it with them.. to be there and cry with them.

Many blessings to you and your cousins family. He made the ultimate sacrifice so that all of us can enjoy our freedom. I, for one, am forever thankful that I was born an American and proud of it. I am forever in the debt of the selfless sacrifice our service men and women make for us daily.
As so many others have said, words cannot contain the sadness and emptyness we feel when one of our brave fighting men lay down their life so that others might partake of freedom. Not a day goes by that we don't pray for our men and women in uniform, both at home and abroad. God bless them all! May God comfort all involved at this time of sorrow. Hopefully it will all be over soon but until then, keep the faith. May God never withdraw his mighty hand of protection from thee Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave!

It is with deepest sorry to hear this news. God bless you and your family. Your cousin has the utmost respect, admiration and appreciation from my family. This also goes out to ALL that serve and served to defend this great nation, the United States. I know no words can make you feel better at this time. But know that you and your family and cousin will be in many of our prayers.
