What is the difference between prague powder #1, and saltpetre? I know one is a Nitrite
and one is a Nitrate. I have seen recipies that call for Insta Cure #1 and then in PARENTHESES it says formerly Prague Power #1. I have also seen recipies that call for Prague Power and in PARENTHESES it says saltpetre. What is the difference if any between prague powder #1 and saltpetre? Will I get the same results using either one? Please help - new at this. bigguy
