Price of Meat Probe

Randy, I am checking into this. I don't know why it is so expensive, either.

Thanks Donna. No disrespect for the product, just wondering. I know I'm going to have to replace my probe for the AmeriQue "built like a tank" some time. I have gone through so many cooking probes I can't count them all.

I called last week and ordered (2) probes and had them shipped overnight. I needed them for a competition. I got my bill in the mail yesterday, I am still picking myself off of the floor.I guess I should have asked a price!! I have a STOKER and the probes for it are not even close to this price and they have a circuit board in them.

Well, I will have to jump in here and try to clear this up a bit. First the probe for the AmeriQue is $134.00. I am not sure that you can find one of this quality for any less. The probe for our commercial ovens are $200.00; however they are also NSF listed probes and once again I have not found one of this quality for less.

Our experience with both of these probes has been very good; most of the probes on the market and fairly low quality and don't last very long. We hope that you will find our probes to be of high quality and will give you years of service.
