Probe thermometer on a S25 just reading HI

I'm smoking a turkey breast and my probe thermometer is just reading as HI. It is not giving an interal tempature of the breast. This happened once before when I was cooking rib eyes. Am I doing something wrong when inserting the probe. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey Blazy!,

I've heard some folks say that the probe plug will sometimes get caught on the rubber cap on the display and this will cause the probe not to seat properly,read correct. You might check this out and see if that's what has happened.
