When putting in the program info in my FE I really have to push hard on the buttons to enter the information. So much so, that I was afraid I'd push clean through the decal. Are they all like that? Thanks
It seems have pushed the rib/chicken button then the start button then come back to the rib/chicken then the start. Same way on the brisket button. the fec 100 buttons do take a harder push than the cs 150 .
But the sequence of rib, start, rib, start then they beep the second time ? seems to work even on the 750.
This might be a problem that I deal with at work. I set up operator interface modules for machine operations. Panel views tend to have a delay built in to prevent the pressing of the wrong button. I've noticed that at start-up I have to wait for the processor to boot up then I can start to program in what I want it to do. Give the processor time to read what you want to do, afterall we are SLOW COOKING are we not???
I got my FEC100 last February and have been smoking about every weekend. At first it was very frustrating trying to program...As time goes on it is getting easier though.
