Mountain View BBQ in Columbus, NC(about 7 miles away) is pretty good. The owner's name is Shane and is a pretty cool guy to talk to.
Made it back from SC. Ate at a place called Maurice's. Pretty good. With a Cookshack you get spoiled. Had the sampler. Wanted to go to The Best of The Best Invitational Cook-Off put on by the Dorchester Shrine Club but couldn't get there in time on Sat. A guy who works for the same company I do recommended Old Whale's Tail Restaurant, but I didn't get there either. Thanks to you who gave suggestions.
If it was Maurice Bessingers in Columbia,SC the food isn't great but is a page from history,family soap opera,civil rights,individual rights,personal courage of convictions-right,or wrong.
