Question FE 100

I may be getting a pre Cookshack FE 100. Are there any differences between the FE and the FEC?

There are differences. The two Most significant to me are:

The door - old style was a "refrigerator" push/swing to close and lock, single handle.

Temperature control - depending on when the older unit was made, the newer CS's have fixed click temperature setting control with digital readout.
