Rack Cleaning

I've been cleaning my smoker racks with the green scrubbing pads found in most markets. They work great. But for my grill I found a different product that works very well. I saw it demo'd on Americas Test Kitchen. It's called the Grill Wizard, and is, essentially a stainless scrubbing pad, not fine like steel wool. You can buy it with a handle or wait till the grill cools enough to use just the replacement pads. It's great.

The only problem with the grillstone is that is leaves a gritty residue from the glass foam block as it wears away.

My clean my FE out as recommended in the FE owners manual.

Spray it down with Zep Smokehouse Cleaner, let it soak, and blast it with the powerwasher.

Cleans up like new.

My dog licks my racks clean!
