I just purchased a remote thermometer and three sensors w/meatprobes at wirelessalarms.com. I tried it on Sunday. I put two turkey breasts and one 5 lb brisket on my Cookshack at 8:30 am. I set two probes at 185* for the turkey and one at 190* for the brisket. I set the cooking temp on 225* and let her rip. I was laying a laminate and had to run to the store. On my old smokers, it took 6-8 hours for the turkey breasts and longer for the brisket, so I thought I was OK to go to the building supply place and back. It was only three hours into cooking. When I came back, the two turkey probes read HHH on the readout and my son said it had started beeping and then quit. I opened the cooker and the turkey breasts were done! The were coming off the bone and were moist and tender. I couldn't clear the HHH off the thermometer. Does anyone know what to do without taking the back off the sensors, taking out the battery, and resetting the whole thing? That seems like a pain in the !@#$$^ to me. Any advice?
