I've been using the Thermoworks Smoke model and couldn't be more pleased
You should research the
Thermoworks Smoke, Tappecue, and FireBoard. Compare features, price, and read at least 10 reviews from owners each. You should then have sufficient input to make a decision based on your needs and budget. All three are quality and have great customer service. I have experience with two of the three. Search for Special sales on #1 & 2.
An afterthought, your choice may depend on how many probes you desire and need.

One more vote here for Thermoworks Smoke.
Thermoworks is by far a leader in this category. I have ruined a few by just not following cleaning instructions. So if you spend the money be sure to read cleaning the probes. Also the instant read thermometer Thermapen is killer acurate. I am almost never using my probes anymore and relying on my experience and instant read. The probes are still a great tool though.
I use the Thermopro TP20 and love it. Very accurate, functional and durable.
