Hello All,

Did my first Riblet(I was very skeptical when I opened the case and saw these things but at $1.47/lb what do you expect right?) smoke on Sunday. Had about 20lb that I rubbed and smoked with about 4oz Apple at 225 degrees. Let em go for about 2.5 hours then put them in sealed foil pans with a pineapple juice, orange juice, apple jelly and cherry preserves mop for another 2 hours. Pulled them and glazed them with the mop on the grill. They turned out pretty darned good. My brother in law is a big but very picky eater and I saw his hand go back for seconds a couple of times. I used a variation of my brisket rub and will have to remember to cut back on the spicy heat a little because of the difference in cook times. Riblets are not the same as baby backs but for the price I can certainly afford to experiment alot more. Do they sell riblets at the retail level?
