Hey everyone. Been reading the forums for quiet some time now and I guess it's time to speak up.
1st being an old Tennessee boy I've tried way through a lot of smoking recipes for a while until I found what works best for me. In the mean time I have been through a few smokers to. Starting with an old Brinkmen charcoal smoker then to a electric then to a standup type propane smoker. Now for all of you who are fighting these type of smokers and putting off spending the extra cash for a better smoker I would like to give you a little advise from experiance. I know everyone can't but if you can, don't go through so many smokers just to save a dollar. I guess it's been 3-4 months now that I got a new FEC100 and folks SAVE YOURSELF a lot of trouble looking for anything else better. Friend it aint there. From start up to finish you can't beat it. Now I will have to admit I tried to rush things a time or two and the finish product didn't turn out the way I wanted. So I guess here is my #1 lesson, If you don't have the time microwave it. Smoking takes time and it's true if your a lookin you aint cookin. When it's done it's done.
Just in case it's a while until you here from me again, I do want to thank all of you who have contributed to the forum. The lessons you teach others is so valuble. I guess even all the dumb things we do even show us so much. Also I would like to thank Cookshack for the great cooker. I'm sure I will be seeing a lot of you real soon. Keep the snow melted on your smokers.
