I don't know how many of you knew Scott Cook, Scott in KC, either from his participation on this forum or from meeting him at BBQ competitions, but I have sad news. Scott passed away yesterday morning of an apparent heart attack.
I know that Scott was an occasional poster on this forum, but he was a friend and I know that he was very proud of his FEC, so I thought I should let you all know.
In case you are local, there will not be a viewing of the body as the family has chosen cremation. Visitation will be Friday morning at 10:00AM, with the service following at 11:00AM. Burial will follow the service. Donations are suggested to the Wolfner Library for the Blind, under the direction of the funeral home.
