Sea Grape wood

I live in the Virgin Islands, Several people have told me about smoking with Sea Grape wood. Any advice or info?

If sea grapes are an edible fruit, the wood should be OK to use. DRY.

Ask Garry Howard. You can probably find him on the other BBQ board--or Tom probably knows him (Tom knows everybody). Garry lives in Puerto Rico donde hay muchas uvas del mar.
