Seperate Temperature device

How many Ameri-Q owners use another temperature probe in their meat when using the Ameri-q's temp probe to cook? I've got a brand new remote probe I have not used, (if I don't need it I wold like to send it back), and was wondering if I should use it as a second probe to help moniture my Butt.

You can use it when cooking more than 1 cut of meat at the same time, such as brisket and butts.

I have one digital probe and am planning on buying another. When I cook on 2 different shelves I would like to know the meat temp on both. I would keep the remote probe if you send it back you probably will end up buying another one anyway.

I use a second probe, Oregon Scientific, in my AQ just out of curiosity and I also dont have to go out to the AQ to see the temp(Lazy?) yeah but I like to have a backup. The Oregon probe always reads about 4 degrees higher than the AQ probe.
