Have used my FE100 for about 10 cooks over the past few months without a problem. This weekend a few weird things happened.

-Had the fire go out and firebox load up with pellets after running on smoke for an hour, and then bumping it up to the 220 setting.

-After cleaning everything up and out, at the 250 setting the temperature consistently was 300-plus inside. Had to regularly open the door to cool it down.

-To cook my chicken I set it on the highest setting. It would not rise above 340.

Ill call Customer Service, but wondering if anyone has had similar experiences?

It sounds kind of like what Jack complained about when a shear pin broke. If that's the case, I hope you have room to move your FE. He had to unbolt it from inside the trailer. And because of the way we have ours mounted, it required lifting the FE. Once he had it moved, he said it was easy to replace the pin.
But that's a good reason to call customer service, they are great!
