Skin on Back of Ribs

Try going to the couple of big bones on the slab end,loosen the edges with a dull knife,screwdriver,oyster knife,etc.

Grip with a paper towel and pull off.

Loinbacks will be easier than the spares.

Some folks love catfish skinnin' pliers.

Catfish skinnin pliers may not be a bad idea.

I have found, both on spares and especially on baby backs, that if I go to the top, or the thick end, of the first short, or thicker bone, I can just grab the membrane with a paper towel and get the whole thing started to peel off.

i found that rinsing the whole thing first with hot water helps tremendously. then grab a corner and it should pull right off.

I found that for me, it is easier to remove the membrane when the meat is at room temperature.
