Local grocery store had BB's priced 50% off last week. Smithfield Choice BB. Normally too pricey, but at $2.50/lb I tried em...

Would do again - tender and tasty, but... like so many have already said here (and newcomers like myself overlook) - these tend to be a little salty. Next time I'll not use store bought rub on this brand - but make my own with little or no salt added.

3oz mix of hickory and pecan was good for 3 - 3# racks at 3 1/2 hours @ 225 (give or take a temp problem)

I've seen them on sale here too, but even at $2.50 a pound I passed because all that I've seen have 12% solution added. I don't like the texture the solution tends to give meat, or the salt it adds. I guess I really have a problem with paying $2.50 for added saltwater though.
