True story on the butt... a brined butt
I did one for the 4th, and after bringing it in to wrap in foil, to let it rest, I went back to the smokette to close the door(so during the cool down nothing warps)when I got back to the butt my wife was already pulling it. So I quickly wrapped it in foil to save what was left to cool some. I think that half of being a good cook is to starve the audience properly...
