I picked up a case of turkey legs Friday. I planned on 25 to 30 per case. Ended up with 41.
I had really planned on pizza today for a throwdown, but I don't do rain, thunder or lightning outside while under a TS Warning.
I peeled the skin back and rubbed the meat with Big Ron's Hint of Houston. Pulled the skin back up, put some EVOO on it and more HOH.
These were cooked on the FEC-100 (inside) at 326 F for an hour and a half. IT was 175. Foiled and rested 30 minutes.
I've deep fried but never smoked em before. You talk about good.

All rubbed up and in the smoker.

Finished. Chow time.

Thanks for lookin'.
Ya gotta try this. You don't know what you're missing.

Thanks for the info Tom.
That's what I plan on doing this summer. Only, I planned on 30 per case. These run .6 to .75 pounds per leg. Don't know if I can get $5 here.
It would sure be nice to put $160 per case in my pocket. Big Grin
If I don't get my trailer finished, it will be EZ-Up time again. Frowner
