Hello! My name is Dan and I'm a Smokeaholic.

Does anyone else have the same problem? I took the step and purchased a Cookshack in January 2009 and now it's an addiction. The wife and kids are always asking what I will be smoking next. Coworkers are always looking over my shoulder to see what left overs I've brought for lunch. Friends always asked when I'll be having my next get together. I don't know what to do! Oh well....... I'm sure that I'll figure it out. In the mean time it's 2:30am and the butts in the SM025 are at 138 degrees. No doubt in about 10 to 12 hours, I'll have some fantasic pulled pork to enjoy! Hopefully they will never come up with a patch or pill to cure this addiction!

I Dan, I'm Russ and I'm a Smokeaholic too.

Actually I found Smokeaholic Anonymous and this forum, we figure since we can't beat the addiction, we'll feed it.

I'm getting my "fix" this weekend, have a BBQ contest.

Hi. I'm Jim. I, too, am a smokeaholic. I've only used my Viking a couple times since I got my Cookshack Elite. The wife is worried that I might try to smoke a steak. What's wrong with smoked steak?

I recently joined Smokeaholics Anonymous and highly recommend it. It's a wonderful organization. Whenever you get the urge to smoke something just call a member and he'll come over and drink with you.

Just remember its a disease that you cannot control! It will consume every minute of your day. You'll continue to chase that "smoke" high that first bit you. Enjoy the ride and remember we're here to support you.

OK. I was going to keep this a secret, but since we're "outing", I'll let you know. I just bought and received a cubic foot of gourmet wood product (sweet cherry, hickory, and alder) from Smokinlicious Gourmet Wood Products.

I know you experienced smokers are probably rolling your eyes cause the wood's expensive, but I can't stop experimenting since I got my Cookshack. It's my intent to attend our twice weekly group sessions, but know it's just so I can get a "smoke high" from listening to all your obsessions.

hi i am Bill!!!! got my amerique a few weeks ago. one hit of the fabulous smoke and i was addicted. can't get enough things smoked. i should have got an extra fridge and freezer. should of got a bigger smoker. making homemade pastrami as i type. sh*t i am a smokaholic

Thanks to all how have opened up and admitted their addiction. Now I wonder if Cook Shack will offer a support program for all of us who have been drawn into this evil addiction. In the mean time I will continue to lean on the shoulder of those who support this forum. Thank you and "Smoke On"!
