Had plans today to smoke some holiday Ribs / Brisket for friends / family. Follwed the BRITU ribs recipe, put the ribs in the smoker and set my SM08 to 225 degrees. Checked on them a couple of hours later and there was no smoke. Opened the door and there was no heat. At this point, either the smoker has a problem or the exterior wall outlet. I then goto the break box and flip all my switches for good measure. No joy. Plug a hair dryer into that same outlet as the smoker. No joy. I hope to have an electrician look at / fix the outlet on Friday. No Q for this Christmas How long can I stored rubbed ribs in the fridge before they start to go south?
