Hey Speectrumseven,

As soon as I build something to hold that porker firm in place,I`ll let you know. I`m afraid that if I dont lock him in tight, he will fall apart due to tenderness. The pig will have to be stood up. I wish I could just hang it from a hook, but I know better.

Hi Rocky.I have used chicken wire that you can get from any farm supply store.Just wrap it like you would a twine net around a boned roast and run your hook through the wire. The "wire net" will unwrap easily and you could even reuse it after cleaning.I have not done one in my CS,but it works well in other vertical cookers.Hope this helps.

Good Q 2 Ya,Tom.
Hey Tom,
Thanks for the tip.I thought it might poison the meat to use a wire like that.Since you have tried it,and you are writing me,I guess that proves my theory wrong orrrrr you are pretty tough(hmmmmm).I think I will try your method, and since I am a generous guy,I think I`ll invite a couple of my ex wives over and fix them a big ol smoked pig samich, then after I drink beer for a couple of hours,I may just fix one for myself.
