Smoking in South Africa

Hello folks,

I've recently moved to South Africa from Los Angeles and of course I had to bring my Model 55

I got a replacement element for the 220V current here before I left the States and put it to the test on a load of ribs. As usual they were a hit, but a brand new one for the folks down here BBQ is basically non-existant.

So another big thanks to the folks in Ponca City - your smokers are travelling far and wide and making people happy all the way!

Maybe you can try smoking some of the famed 'bushmeat' and let us know how it is.
