No temp rating needed, the outside of the smoker doesn't get hot. No ventilation need neither.

Been using one on all my FE's for 5 years.

There are two zippers on the front to open it up and throw the cover back and open the door; the cover stays on the top/sides and pellet bin

There is a gap for the vent hole.

Great, thanks for the answers. Mine actually gets hot to the touch around the exhaust but not hot enough to ignite much that I am aware of. That's why I asked about the heat rating.
