well, this afternoon i am selling my traeger pellet smoker. my wife says i can get a sm025. i am so happy. probably won't get it before xmas but thats ok. to they all come with the temp probe? i can't wait.

Yes, the 025 comes with the temp probe, but it would be a good idea to go to Target store and buy a cheap Taylor probe. That way if you have more then one PB or other product in the smoker you can keep an eye on both without opening the door.

Welcome Smoke. You're going to love your new smoker. I have had mine for over a year now and just yesterday smoked something I have never smoked. Have fun and try new things.

my new sm025 is being delivered at the end of day today. i'm thinking about calling in sick tomorrow.

I am doing a first brisket this weekend as well!! Just don't put the wood tray in wrong the way I did and lose a couple days of trying out your new toy like I did!!
thats my next question. i thought the wood box slides all the way in. how does it go on?
