Source For Pellets In Northeast Ohio?

Just got back from the class at Ponca City taught by Eddie and Paul. I highly recommend this class. Heck the welcome dinner that was put on Thursday night was worth the price of admission not to mention the goodie bags. I took advantage of the offer to purchase an FEC 100 and am looking forward to delivery. I know that there are a few FEC 100 owners in Ohio. Could you tell me if there are any places in the Cleveland/Akron area where I can purchase food grade pellets. If there are not any place would anyone be interested in going in on a bulk order in order to save shipping costs?

Thanks in advance for your responses and or suggestions on where to purchase pellets.

P.S. My wife just mentioned to me when I got back that a new Cabella's may be going up in Macedonia, OH. I would love to see that happen and see Cabella's extend their BBQ cookoffs into Ohio for a second Ohio State Championship contest.

Hey, welcome to the club, from a fellow Clevelander...I usually get a pallet each year from BBQ Delight...and, if you are interested we could split a pallet. I have not found anyone around here that sells pellets. Get in touch, and welcome to the club. I too am looking at getting into competitions, and wish that there was more than Hocking Hills in OH!

Hey U2, I'd be glad to take you up on your offer. Right now I've got about a 100 lbs of assorted pellets from BBQ'rs delight (apple, hickory, cherry, mesquite, and pecan). I'm still waiting on the FEC 100.

What part of Cleveland do you live?

I did three comps last year (Cabela's (Dundee, MI), Oinktoberfest (Clarence, NY), and Nelsonville, OH. I got a call in one category in each contest with the highest being 2nd in Pork at Oinktoberfest, took third in Pork two weeks later in Nelsonville and 10th overall. Goal for next year is to try and get a call in more than one category at a contest. Hope the FEC 100 will help in that goal.

Glad to make contact with another Buckeye Pellethead. I'm also waiting on delivery on a Stumps GF 223 smoker. Got word it will be delivered Thursday. It's got a custom two toned paint job (done in a Auto body shop) - Scarlet and Gray.

My home number is 330-463-3571. I definitely want to go in on this with you. Just need to know how much your contemplating ordering. I've heard a full pallet gets you the best deal but I have no idea how many bag that translates into.
