Well, shucks, I am just doin' my job. Big Grin

I have asked "Ponca City" (that's the location of the main Cookshack factory -- I am in another city about 120 miles away) to put together a spare parts kit for competitors and we will put it on our website, as well as the individual parts. Just gimme a while to get it organized.

I was actually thinking of sending that suggestion via te cs website- a spare parts kit, maybe a vent stack kit, even a power kit (inverter, extension cord). Seems like an easy way to catch a few bucks.

Oh, and maybe a hopper extender for us caterers who want to dump a whole 40# in and just worry about the food.
Thanks, Skippyp, those are all good ideas. Hey, we are a bunch of Okies and we need our customers to figure these things out for us! Big Grin

FEC parts are now in our store at http://www.cookshack.com/shopping/start.php?browse=1&cat=14&=SID. This page can be reached from the Store link on the Competition home page.

Some of those parts are listed as free of charge. We reserve the right to start charging for them at some point in the future. Now, don't get on there and order dozens of them for the hell of it or we will start charging, not to mention I will bonk you on the head. (Just ask Fred about that! You don't want it to happen.)

I don't know if that is needed. I cater a lot and have never wanted for a bigger hopper. That includes regularly smoking 2000 pounds of large cuts in the FE over several days. A full hopper lasts 12+ hours at 275f for me. When the hopper goes from full to empty in my experience it's time to do a clean out of the inside before reloading with meat and pellets.
