I prepared these yummy onion rings last night and we served them with a slab of smoked spares.
1 large Vidalia Onion sliced into 1/2 inch rings.
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp CS Spicy Chicken Rub
1 teaspoon Kosher salt - table salt works fine too
Combine all dry ingredients in a brown paper "lunch" bag...or bowl.
Batter:
1 cup all purpose flour
1 12 oz. can of beer
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 teaspoons CS Spicy Chicken Rub
Gently shake the onion rings with the seasoned flour. Dip them in batter and fry at 350 until golden brown...about 45 seconds on each side.
