Tonight we just finished doing the Tanana State Fair in Fairbanks Alaska. I served brisket and pork sandwiches, St Louis spareribs, rib tips & sides. It lasted 9 long days. Last year we did it with a CS150 and a few webbers. This year I purchased a refurbished CS205. Wouldn't have been able to keep up without it. We sold on an average of 500 to 700 sandwiches and 30 to 50 racks of ribs per day. Plus I make my own BBQ sauces and beans. Lot of prepping for one person. Anyhow my question is this, is the heating element either good or bad? Can you tell if it is going bad? I had one side go out on my CS205and found the wire on the back side broke off the element lead. My hint was that it took my pork butts almost 20 hours to cook. If anyone knows the answer please reply
