storage cart door question | Cookshack

So my shiny new toys arrived today. Besides missing the wood tray (will call CS tomorrow) I notice the door on the storage cart doesn't close flush. (it actually angles out so the opening side is about 1/4" from the cart wall) For those of you that have the cart, is that typical?

Yep that is typical, on mine the magnetic latch stops it from closing flush.

yep unfortunately it does not fit very well.

I used some door weatherstripping to seal the gap on mine. Get the foam strips with a sticky tape like backing.

that's a good idea, I was also thinking about adding a pair of washers behind the hinge point on the chassis in order to even out the gap.
