When judging competitions, their are 6 judges and a table captain. He is responsible for getting the 6 boxes to be judged and showing the boxes to each judge.

If a judge has a problem/question with a box about being legal, the captain gets the rep. to rule on it.

I guess you can say he is the MOTHER of the operation...LOL!
The team took,I believe,the second TC class tosupport the folks putting it on.It was the day before the Dillard cookoff.

We banked it as a little extra knowledge as to the procedures that might help a little in our cooking.

I rarely mention it,as I also prefer to sample the turnins to learn what other cooks are presenting.

I can also appreciate other folks taking the approach of not wanting to have to eat all the entries.
