Anyone have a good recipe for Texas style BBQ beans. You know the one that is full of chili powder not sweet like a baked beans. Every bbq place down here has that style and i cant find a good recipe to save my life!

Take the recipes that sounds good to you and leave out all the sweetness, (honey, brown sugar, molasses and such). I do that and it improves all recipes for me, because I do not care for the sweet either.

Don't know what "Tx bbq beans" are. In Tx you get pintos only. Google charro beans, or borracho beans or ranch style. Plain ole pintos are good too. Fore mentioned Mr. Wheels recipe I believe is a takeoff on Charros, but I'm not an expert. Mi novia makes charros. Borrachos? Well, I'm bout 1/2 borracho right now. Do the google, and decide what you want to try. They are all good.
