Why, oh why, does Cookshack continue to send the miserable instruction/cookbook to new purchasers? I have seen for almost two years that it was being updated because the times are not accurate.

While we catch many of the new folks on this forum, some don't have access to the web or find us if they do. Just today, I saw three references to the cookbook and the disappointment that new owners have when they try to follow the instructions.

Let's encourage CS to get this project done and quit sending out those bad books that have given an undeserved bad first impression to too many posters on this forum. This is too good a product to tell new purchasers an incorrect way to use it!

I could not agree more.

Now the CS people are wonderful and the company as a whole is wonderful but to continually put out a manuel that is so far off in "times" (especially to a newcommer) is poor customer service. I for one generally read manuels and follow them closely. In doing so, when I first got my CS, I had bad results until I finally learned the manuel times were way too low.

I hope this communication serves its purpose to the good folks at CS.

The new cookbook is on it's way. Sorry it has taken so long to get together. It has been a real learning experience.

We actually signed off on the printing today, so the new book should be in house in a couple of weeks. If you would like a pdf copy before then, just give Jerry Newsom an email at j_newsom@cookshack.com and he will be happy to send it to you.

Thanks for your patience and all the great info everyone puts out on the forum.
