Theermostat quit working

I got the seals replaced after my fire. The fan melted some and will need to be replaced. Now the thermostat does not work. Regardless of what setting you are on it runs up to 320 degrees plus. The wires from the probe to the controls look good. What else should I be looking for. I need to get this up and running by Wednesday.Please Help.

You fried the probe. The probe maximum temp is around 600 degrees, sounds like your fire exceeded that.

Happened to me once when I had eight prime ribs going at same time at high temp. You can get a new probe from Traeger at Mt. Angel, same probe that is used in the FE.
