Took The Plunge

You made a good choice, I've had mine over a year now and it was the best money I've spent. I've saved a ton of money in wood and charcoal. Just ordered more pellets today.I talked with several people about theirs Rod Smoking Trooper and others and went to KC and Eddy cooked for me on the FE. That was it, I sold my Klose the day I got back from Eddys in KC. The FE fits my cooking style, lazy that is. Enjoy it

Congratulations, Evets. I am <not> a lazy barbecuer, but with my new FE I've discovered how great it is that I <can> be one any time I want!

The documentation that comes with the FE is really sad. Very sketchy and out of date, as well. Don't worry about it. The unit is VERY user friendly and you can get all the help you need either by phone from Cookshack or on line here. I've been told they're coming out with a new manual and that I'd be sent one when it comes off the presses. By then I hope to be an old pro.
