Tried another overnight cook

I talked to Fast Eddy about my burnout problems & he said he felt it was a power problem. One way to try & correct this is was with a inverter & deep cycle battery. I went out & bought a 800watt inverter & the battery the same day. Last night i started the FE100 at 250F around 8

m with a 12Lb bone in pork butt. At the same time i lite my Big Green Egg as a back up with two butts on it so i would not screw thing up. At 7:am i returned to work & the FE was moving along at 240F from the 250 setting the night before. The butt was at 199F & falling off the bone. To bad it's for a friends birthday on Sat or it would be breakfast for me today.

Where do you find 12# butts? I would love to get them that big if I could here in the states. I can get whole shoulders that are 16-19#.
