I am going to brine a turkey and it is still half frozen I been thawing it in the frig for three day but it is still half frozen Will it hurt it to put it in the brine tonight for a
sunday Smoke? or will the fact that it half frozen affect how well it brines ? Or should I put it in the sink under cold running water to complete the thaw first then put it in the brine ?

Yes, still frozen will effect how it brines. The salt solution may help unfreeze it, but what will happen is if you leave the partially frozen bird in, some will brine too long and some will brine not long enough.

Thaw it first by whatever method. Try to brine for minimum 24 hours max of 48.
