I got my fec 100 in on Thursday and crank it up at once. We had signed up for a strret fair in NYC for Saturday and trying to cook 900 LBS of Turkey Drum Sticks. After I followed the directions before using the FEC I proceed with my first load of Drum sticks. It is around 2 AM and I load 20 on a rack for six racks. They weight around a pound a piece. I could not get the temp above 170 and was not opening the door. I would set the temp at 275 tring to get it hotter. The temp did not go up.

I cooked on ith this way Tursday night , friday night and all day Saturday. Most of the time it would only get to 160 or 165. Took like five hours a load.

Please help. My150 was also cooking and took 2.5 hours on that smoker.

We did a good job and got experience for the first one. I look forward to more and the best part of the day was when several customers bought the DrumStick walked away and then 30 minutes or so came back and told us "Man these are really good:.
