Even though it's late in the day, I would like to take the time and opportunity to thank all those who wore or are wearing the uniform of the good old USA. So many have sacrificed so much and some paid with their lives so that we might have the liberties and freedoms that we all enjoy today. Without that sacrifice & willingness to serve, God only knows where we would have been today.

I would like this post to honor my deceased uncle, Captain Wayne D. "Kit" Carson. He served 25 years in the USAF, served in both WWII and Korea, was shot down in Belgium ad rescued by the French Resistance. In total he logged over 8,000 hours in his time served. He was military to the core and loved his country.

Thanks again to all who gave. Your service is appreciated even though you don't hear it nearly enough!

Sincerely...
