Look under "favorite pork butt rub", the permanent first topic in this listing. You'll see Smokin's pork butt basting sauce about one page down. FWIW, the cookshack retains so much moisture that I don't think the tradeoff in cook time that is caused by opening the door for basting is a good choice. I would put it in and let it cook w/o basting, for butt anyway.
