I just wanted to say, as I pass my meager 100th post, that the Cookshack Forum has been an absolute blessing. It is a fellowship of professionals and amateurs linked by wood and recipes, and technique and, at times, frustration. Those that are experienced pass on to those of us who are novice exactly what we need to know, without drama. The great folks who make up this forum have propelled me to the cook I never thought I would become. You are the best. And just a note, If you're thinking of purchasing a Cookshack product, realize that you are not just buying a smoker, you're joining a family. Thanks again Russ and everyone who has made a difference. Blessing, Bill

Agreed CB! I have friends that have been smoking for years. I have been able to discuss tips with them that they have either learned through years of experience or haven't even thought of. The Smokeshack family as given me some great tools, reducing the learning curve to great Q! While I'm no expert, no one has run from my table yet from smoked goodness right out of the gates. Thanks to everyone for sharing on here.

Which ones do you want? I've given most of them here, but they're little nuggets and tips and short comments. You can find them, here's the problem... You only have to search the 11846 posts I'm ahead of Chaplain Bill. By that time, I'll have 20 years at the CS forum and I can retire with my GOLD FEC100

Bill I hope we're all here for your 1,000th and 10,000th post.
Awesome.

It's always great for people to come in and make themselves home here. Keeps us old guys going...

This site it awesome ........it is a blessing i check it out all the time. one of the only problems with it is I am going to the butcher shop way more often .........I love reading and looking at all the post and learning from them and there is nothing better then looking at a little food porn to please the eys and the tummy! it took me a while to pull the trigger on the cookshack Amerique 66 .....but i dont reget it in the least ......glad I read the posts and got the bigger one right away ...and I want a FE
Like Smokin' says,we toss out what we can think of.

Something over a decade ago, drbbq told me to just follow Fast Eddy around and listen and watch.Eddy doesn't even know all he knows and he assumes we all have the same base. Confused

As Max knows,he can read the CIA cookbook, but it just shows you where the doors and light switches are.

Then,as Max knows and we all preach, you have to go cook something and quit researching it. Smiler

I'll bet Max can touch a meat in an unregulated oven,or flat top,and know if it is done. Cool

Probably ,unlike me,Max never even had any flops. Wink

Now, one secret we all wish each other at contests,is "pick a lucky judging table table". Big Grin
Wow you did nail it..."What a Blessing!" ! This is the best forum I participate in because the information is so good and, the main thing, people are so POSITIVE here. I have learned a lot and have been helped a lot. But remember, this is Cookshack! This is just the way they are and that is the Blessing for me.

Life is Good!
